We are excited by the increasing number of very young children in the EBC Family! As more and more of these young lives join our community, we strive to offer safe and loving places for their care—as well as support for their parents as they come to worship and learn with us.

• Our Fireside Lounge is a designated ‘Infant-Friendly Zone’. This room looks into the sanctuary through broad sliding glass doors and is equipped with age-suitable toys for children to play with under the supervision of their parents. Sound and projection feeds from the sanctuary allow parents to remain engaged in the worship of the wider church family.

• With the ever-increasing numbers of infants in our congregation, we are excited to be nearing completion of renovations to our dedicated Nursery. Located a bit further the sanctuary, volunteer ‘parents’ and ‘grandparents’ will soon be available to care for children in a safe and cheerful environment. A quiet, private space will be available for nursing mothers, and audio/video feeds from the sanctuary will maintain the connection with the rest of the worshipping community. A discreet visual messaging service in the sanctuary allows nursery volunteers to recall parents in the case of difficulty. Anticipated ‘grand opening’: Easter 2010.
